How to log my period and use the calendar?
Here's how to log your period, catch up if you missed a day, or simply check your calendar without saving anything:
How to log your period
To log your period in the Cycle Diet app:
- Open the app and tap the “Tracker”.
- Tap “Log Period.”
- Today’s date will be automatically selected as your period start day.
- If that’s correct, you can leave it as is.
- If today isn’t the right date, tap it again to unselect it.
- Tap on the correct day(s) in the calendar to mark your period.
- When you’re done, press “Save.”
Your period will now be saved, and your cycle phases (like ovulation and luteal phase) will update automatically based on this data.
What to do if you forgot to log a day
If you forgot to log your period on the day it started:
- Open the Tracker and tap “Log Period.”
- Tap the actual start date (even if it’s in the past), along with any other relevant days.
- Tap again to deselect any incorrect dates.
- Press “Save.”
The app will use your latest data to recalculate your cycle and adjust your recommendations.
How to just check the calendar
If you only want to view the calendar without making changes:
- Open the Tracker or tap “Log Period.”
- Feel free to scroll and check your logged periods or phase predictions.
- If you accidentally select a date, just tap back arrow icon.
- Only pressing “Save” will make changes. If you exit using “Back,” no data will be updated.
